Sensing Group - Province India

Province of India

The Sensing Program as a forerunner to the 2024 General Chapter of the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God is going on very successfully in the Indian Province.

After the regional assembly held in South Korea, the team members meeting consisting of brothers and co-workers met and formed various sensing groups and later conducted two provincial sensing group meetings. Three Sensing Groups were formed and activities were organized for smooth conduct of Sensing. The sensing group consists of brothers workers and professionals.

A mixed methodology consisting of quantitative and qualitative was chosen for effective sensing and data collection was completed as part of the quantitative study. After completing the quantitative study, it is decided to conduct case study and focus group discussion as part of mixed methodology. About a thousand samples have been collected and the quantitative study has been completed.

The Indian Province has decided to study all the subjects suggested by the Preparation Commission of the General Chapter in internal and external sections.

Mr. Dipu John was chosen as the General Coordinator of the Province and Sister Bincy S.A.B.S. was chosen to supervise the research study.
The sensing program of the Indian province is expected to be completed by the end of March 2024.
