Online meeting of the Preparatory Commission
The purpose of the meeting was twofold: on the one hand to make an evaluation of the regional assemblies, which, as you know, were dedicated to the preparation of the General Chapter, and on the other hand to examine how best to collect the results of the sensing groups that have been set up in the Provinces in the meantime.
The evaluation of the regional assemblies was very positive: in each region, the U method was successfully worked on, the topics to be studied were chosen and the sensing groups were formed. In the meantime, each Province also chose the persons who would act as 'general coordinators' to lead the sensing activities and collect the results. An outline was drawn up for the collection of the results of the sensing groups, which was discussed upon during the online meeting. In any case, the general coordinators of the provinces will in future be able to rely on the support and backing of the members of the Preparatory Commission, representatives of their region.
